Imrey Studio was hired to design a microbrewery in place of an old barn. We opted to work off its typology, designing a barn-like structure with projecting ends. Inside, the space has white “enamel” waterproof walls and all stainless steel fixtures and equipment, while above, the barn feeling is maintained using timber trusses reclaimed from the old barn and exposed stress-skin panels.
